Alexander Shadrikov: "You are not just our assistants and associates, you are an example to follow." The Minister of Ecology met with eco-activists of the republic and passed the "green test" perfectly
In the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, activists of the youth environmental movement "It will be Clean" and the regional branch of the RGS in the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the year. The event was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, Deputy Minister Egor Tarnavsky and Head of the Department of Information Systems and Environmental Education Damir Valiullin.
More than 520 eco-educational events, 103 environmental actions, yard camps and holidays, recycling collection actions and animal protection actions - and these are not all the activities that were organized this year by the "It will Be Clean" movement. This year has become a year of new victories and results for the green team, they have won grants for the implementation of projects: "Charity Ecological Festival "Yardam", "Weekend Ecotourism", "Case Championships", "Youth Ecological Festival "EcoFest", "Eco-culture" and projects of the winners of the Republican contest of environmental socially significant projects among the youth environmental associations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Agarkov told about the actions and events of the Russian Geographical Society. This year alone, the department carried out 9 actions to clean the rivers and lakes of the Republic, cleaned 442,600 sq.m. of land and 46,675 sq.m. of water, collected 100 cubic meters of garbage, organized 2 eco-rafts. Competitions, excursions, a republican rally and 10 scientific and practical conferences were held. In addition, 2000 students of general education institutions joined the ranks of the movement of young naturalists during the year. And from this year, young naturalists and young soldiers will conduct joint teamwork.
Let us recall that the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the VVPOD "YUNARMIYA" of the Republic of Tatarstan signed an Agreement on interaction and cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, activists of the youth movement "It will be clean" gave Alexander Shadrikov a credit for participating in environmental campaigns. The minister passed the "green test" perfectly and stressed: "You are not just our assistants and associates, you are an example to follow, those who need to be looked up to. Thank you for your active work for the benefit of environmental protection!".
