7 new eco-projects have been launched in Tatarstan thanks to grants from "Eco-Waves"
300 thousand rubles in the form of grants were allocated to the winners of the Republican contest of environmental socially significant projects within the framework of the VI Forum of Youth Environmental Organizations "ECO-wave-2022". Grant support was provided by the Tatarstan Branch of the Russian Ecological Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Of the 10 finalists of the competition, 7 environmental projects aimed at environmental education, animal protection and environmental protection received grant support.

The project "Separate waste collection by renting tourist equipment" received a grant certificate and from August to September in the village of Tenishevo, the author of the project Alina Akhmadishina organized a point for receiving secondary raw materials and provides rental of tourist equipment. For sorted waste, people get a discount on the rental of tour equipment.
The grant was also allocated for the project of the Raifa Special Educational Institution "We are for ecology: think, explore and act!", which is aimed at conducting educational events. This summer, the organizers, namely the eco-team "Vityazi", organized a yard camp "My ECO-summer" and a holiday "Breathe with the planet". 192 people took part in these events.
The eco-educational direction of the project "PRO ECO". Eco-association "PRO ECO" for schoolchildren of Chistopol held an event "ECO-trail", quest games and an Eco-Hackathon contest for the best flower arrangement. 50,000 rubles were allocated for the implementation of these measures.
And for schoolchildren of Aznakaevo, the Friends of Nature association is implementing the project "For the Pure Future", within the framework of which ecological and educational events begin in September.
Not only for schoolchildren, but also for students and preschool children, 13 events (lectures, master classes, excursions) will be held in September and October thanks to the project "Greenlight Youth Ecological Detachment in support of the socio-ecological strategy of the state". This project received support of 50,000 rubles.
The "Life in ECO style" project team did not forget about the volunteers. So, in the city of Zainsk, the ECO-STYLE squad for volunteer schoolchildren of grades 7-9 will hold a City ecological festival from September 30 to October 10 to attract the attention of all those who are not indifferent to the problems of nature protection. The grant amount for the project was 40,000 rubles.
The project "Eco-habits: a four-legged friend" received financial support in the amount of 70,000 rubles. The ECO-time ecological team will visit a homeless animal shelter in September, hold games in a kindergarten and an eco-festival for separate waste collection.
