Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, together with specialists of the branch "CLATM for the Republic of Tatarstan" FSBI "CLATM for the Volga Federal District" went to the place of wastewater discharge near the river port of Kazan.
Experts took water samples to determine the presence and concentration of pollutants.
For reference: according to available information, in this area the discharge of urban stormwater is carried out by the pumping station of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal" of Kazan (there are no permits for discharge, it is not registered as an object of NEI).
Taking into account that the discharge is carried out into a water body of federal significance, according to the results of laboratory studies, a warning about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation will be sent to the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal in Kazan.
