On September 1, the V All-Russian competition "The Best eco-volunteer squad" of the non-governmental Foundation named after V. I. Vernadsky starts. It is held in eight nominations: "We help nature reserves", "Eco-volunteers – rivers, lakes and seas", "Forest Volunteers", "Eco-Volunteers of the city", "No garbage!", "Eco-vision", "Eco-youth" and "Eco-model. Childhood". Eco-volunteer detachments of federal, regional and municipal authorities, social and educational institutions, public and commercial organizations and others can take part.
This year the competition is held from September 1 to December 31, summing up and awarding the winners is scheduled for the beginning of next year.
To apply for participation in the competition, you must fill out an online questionnaire published on the Foundation's website in the section "Activities" - "Foundation Projects" - the All-Russian project "The Best Eco-volunteer Squad" and be sure to attach a file with a competitive portfolio in accordance with the selected nomination. The competition is aimed at identifying and supporting active eco-volunteer groups, increasing the motivation of the younger generation to participate in socially oriented activities. In addition, with the help of this project, the organizers intend to draw public attention to successful examples of youth initiatives, as well as problems of environmental conservation, popularization of successful environmental volunteer practices and experience.
