A scientific and technical council was held at the Ministry today
Today, on August 19, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council chaired by First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shigapov and Deputy Minister Olga Manidicheva.
The meeting included topics on pressing matters: oil sludge processing and rehabilitation of water bodies.
Senior Researcher of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) M. P. Krestovnikov presented to the members of the Science and Engineering Board developments on the topic: "Natural sorbents for oil spill response". The report aroused interest and agreements were reached on the exchange of additional information for further familiarization with the presented experience.
The second topic was a report from Rostov-on-Don "Rehabilitation and reproduction of water bodies by restoration of natural biocenosis". The speaker told about technologies for the rehabilitation of water bodies and the possibility of their application. At the end, the Science and Engineering Board members expressed their opinions on the presented developments.
The results of the discussions will be reflected in the Minutes of the meeting.
