Mobile ecological laboratory is now working in a new operation mode

Mobile ecological laboratory for air pollution control in Nizhnekamsk is now working in a new operation mode in the framework of the Republican target program “Environmental Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2015” (sub-program “Environmental Quality Control. Implementation of the territorial system for environmental monitoring”.) The mobile laboratory is equipped with two new chromatographs - Chromatech-Gazochrom 2000 and Syntech Spectras GC955-600, which makes possible to determine the level of aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene, phenol) in the air of Nizhnekamsk automatically. Besides, the mobile ecological laboratory for air pollution control helps to determine the level of ethylene oxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, ammonia, carbon oxide, carbon dioxide, ozone, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and suspended substances in the air.

     Additional equipment of the mobile ecological laboratory makes it possible to enlarge the list of contaminating substances found in the air online and to supervise chemical, petrochemical and other companies of Nizhnekamsk which generate a negative impact on environmental conditions of the air.
