318 Tatarstan companies have already registered in the FSIS OPVC

15 March 2022, Tuesday

This is almost 10 times more than it was at the beginning of the year. Let us recall that on March 1, amendments to the Federal Law "On Production and Consumption Waste" came into force. From this moment on, market participants engaged in waste management activities of hazard classes I and II, as well as all legal entities that are waste producers of hazard classes I and II, must be registered in the federal state information system for accounting and control of waste management of Classes I and II (FSIS OPVC). It is to the FSIS OPVC that they should send information about the formation of such waste and about the services provided for handling them.

The operator of the FSIS OPVC is the federal State Unitary Enterprise "Federal Environmental Operator" (SUE "FEO").

Activities for the management of such waste can be carried out only in accordance with the contract concluded with SUE "FEO".

According to SUE "FEO", as of March 1, 2022, 318 organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan have registered in the information system. For comparison, at the end of last year, only 39 companies were registered in the system.
