The Ministry of Ecology held a meeting with the finalist of the Republican contest of young leaders "Up!"
Today, at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva met with the finalist of the republican contest of young leaders "Up!" - Veronika Galiakbarova. The young leader told about her new project. Its main goal is to help Kazan residents find collection points for used batteries. Faced with such a problem herself, Veronika developed a project to create identification marks indicating the locations of collection points for spent chemical current sources. According to Veronika, her project will help to increase the environmental education of the population. She presented her work at the republican contest of young leaders "Up!" and made it to the final. Now the girl has the opportunity to undergo an internship at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Department for ensuring the safe management of production and consumption waste.
The republican contest "Up!" has been held annually since 2009 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Regional Public Organization "Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan". This is a developing program and internship system that contributes to the successful completion of competitive procedures for inclusion in the personnel reserve of the state civil service. This year, participants from 24 municipalities have sent more than 280 applications. According to the results of the competition, 17 finalists will be trained in 7 ministries of Tatarstan, of which 7 participants have already submitted applications for the competition for inclusion in the personnel reserve of the State civil service of the Republic of Tatarstan.
