The school of eco-volunteers opened in the KIU (IEUP) named after V. G. Timiryasov

The Kazan Innovation University named after V. G.Timiryasov has opened a school for the development of eco-volunteering. Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky addressed the students with a welcoming speech. He noted that the Ministry is always ready to support the implementation of an environmental education project and highly appreciates the efforts aimed at educating an environmentally oriented generation.  "Thanks to such caring people, environmental volunteering is one of the most popular areas today. Your initiative to create a school is worthy of the highest assessment and praise! I wish you to achieve great success in your business and teach all students to live according to the laws of ecology." The project of Kazan Innovation University named after V. G.Timiryasov "School of eco-volunteers of the 21st century" received a grant from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The republican competition for subsidies for non-profit organizations involved in the implementation of socially significant projects was organized by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. Next year, thanks to such financial support, the university plans to hold master classes, organize lectures and webinars.
