Russian national academic contest of young geologists will be held in Kazan

The ninth Russian national open field academic contest of young geologists will be held in Kazan from 1 to 10 of August, 2013. It is devoted to the 70th anniversary of Tatarstan's oil-field development and the 60th anniversary of Almetyevsk city.
The main goal of the academic contest is to discover and support gifted children, assist them in professional self-determination and propaganda of the best traditions of Russian and Tatarstan geological science.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
