The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, is on a working visit to Germany. Today he met with the Director of the State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection of the Land of Bavaria/Minister-Director, Head of the Department, Dr. Christian Bart.
At the beginning of the meeting, Aleksandr Shadrikov presented the work of environmental department of Tatarstan, after which the parties went on to discuss automation of monitoring air quality, water bodies and wastewater. German colleagues, in turn, shared their experience and promised to present the introduced technologies in the field of environmental protection.
A dump of dirty snow masses was discovered by residents of Naberezhnye Chelny on the Khadi Taktasha str. – and sent to ecologists. The acceptance of works for the contest of drawings “Pure Water - a Clean Future!” dedicated to World Water Day has been launched. An event under the title “Homeland - the green cradle” took place in the Nizhnekuyukskaya school of Atninskiy district. The chemical smell from the foundry of the Kama Metallurgical Combine “TEMPO” was reported to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan through the unified dispatch service of the Ministry of Emergencies on February 23, 2020. A large landfill was discovered by ecologists during a raid in the area of the Salmachi settlement in Kazan. As it turned out, the area of illegal storage amounted to 1,275 square meters, the volume - more than 200 cubic meters.
