The annual environmental campaign Earth Hour 2020 will take place on March 28. The campaign, organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), is designed to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to the nature and resources of the planet. The event will begin at 8:30 p.m. local time.

As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the main topic of this year's campaign will be environmental activism. The campaign will be held under the slogan “Everyone can!” and will focus on five areas of environmental activism.

A drilling company faces a fine of 70 thousand rubles for unauthorized use of a water body. This violation was revealed by employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a raid in the Bugulminskiy district. During the inspection, ecologists recorded the fact of water intake from the water body of the Zai river into the tank truck using a motor pump.

Employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology last spring revealed the fact of dumping of construction waste onto the soil. The area of ​​cluttering amounted to almost 5,000 square meters. Disagreeing with the violation, the organization filed a complaint with the court. The Supreme Court upheld the decision. An administrative penalty of a fine of 500 thousand rubles was imposed.

In order to increase the level of anti-corruption knowledge of state civil servants, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar on the issues of providing information on incomes, expenses, property and property obligations, resolving conflicts of interest in the state civil service, observing prohibitions, restrictions and performance of official duties established to combat corruption.

     During the monitoring of the Buinskiy district, inspectors of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration revealed a landfill of construction waste. The area of ​​illegal waste storage amounted to 106 square meters, the volume - 28 cubic meters. The violator faces a fine of up to 250 thousand rubles.

During the raid, employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental laws in Almetyevskiy district. Namely, in the territory near the Nizhnyaya Maktama village, for the purpose of dismantling pipes, earthwork was carried out without permits.
