The “City Children Ecological and Biological Center” in Kazan together with the State Autonomous Institution “Republican Olympiad Center” holds the VI Republican Ecological Festival-Competition for the Stage Performance of Schoolchildren, dedicated to the International Theater Day and International Earth Day.

The purpose of the event is formation and development of environmental and creative culture among pupils by various means of stage art; propaganda of a humane attitude to nature.

From April 13 to May 15, 2020, eco-activists teams from all over the republic will take part in an online game in the quest format. The organizers of the online eco-quest are the Youth Ecological Movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “Will Be Clean” with support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

An intellectual quest was conducted by pupils of the 5th grade in secondary school No. 10. The guys, together with the activists of the “Will Be Clean” movement, made a detailed analysis of the waste, which is most often found in the bin. Pupils also learned that recycling is the safest for the environment.

Inspectors of Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the raid revealed a violation of environmental laws near the Buinsk town. As it turned out, a team of workers carried out repairs on the bridge across the Sviyaga river, the metal structures of the bridge were cleaned from rust.

Discharge of sewage from the storm sewage system into the Bezymyanny river was revealed by inspectors from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was revealed that an illegal discharge of liquid belonging to one of the enterprises of the Almetyevskiy district was carried out from a pipe with a diameter of 110 mm.

RT Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov visited one of the leading European concerns STRABAG AG. The meeting with company representatives was held as part of a working visit to Germany. During the meeting, German colleagues familiarized with the results of reclamation of MSW landfills.

Primary school pupils of Arskaya secondary school No. 7 taught a lesson in environmental literacy to their peers. Watching popular cartoons, poetic performances, a poster contest, a quiz, musical numbers have turned into a real ecological holiday.

Unauthorized use of the water body was recorded by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a raid in Cheremshanskiy district. Water was used for drilling. In relation to the official, a protocol has been drawn up under part 1 of article 8.42 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of educational institutions and other organizations, both commercial and non-profit, as well as activists involved in environmental and educational process can take part in the competition. The organizer is the BELLONA Environmental Law Center.

On behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, is on a working visit to Germany, where he met in Dresden with the State Minister for Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture of the Free State of Saxony, Mr. Wolfram Gunther.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of possible cooperation, exchange of information and experience in the field of nature protection and ensuring the rights of residents of the regions to a healthy and safe environment.
