In 2020, implementation of the multi-year federal target program for the development of the water sector of the Russian Federation is being completed. A large number of projects have been implemented over the years on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, in 2015-2019 the overhaul of 28 hydraulic structures for a total of 570.7 million rubles was carried out, where federal funds amounted to 248.9 million rubles, the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan - 321.8 million rubles. More than 18 thousand people were protected, possible damage in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles was prevented.
Health-creation and educational Complex “Baytik” hosted the Republican meeting of the youth ecological movement “Will be Clean” from December 18 to December 20, 2020 in Kazan. Environmental activists from 17 cities and regions of the republic gathered together to learn more about the professions in the field of ecology, nature management and technosphere safety.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan began checking the quality of wastewater discharged by one of the Leninogorsk enterprises back in January 2020. At the discharge point, samples were taken from the treatment facilities, which showed exceeding of the standards for ammonium by 1.6 times, nitrites - 9.4 times, phosphates - 18.3 times, chlorides - 2.4 times, sulfates - 2 times. On this fact, a protocol was drawn up against the legal entity on the commission of an administrative offense under Part 4 of Article 8.13 of the Administrative Code.
In order to comply with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the events were held online through Zoom.
Measures to prevent violations of mandatory requirements within the framework of regional state environmental supervision, as well as law enforcement practice in the 2nd half of 2020 were discussed.
An interactive game “We are Friends of the Forest” was held in the Kindergarten of general developmental type “Skazka”. During the eco-lesson, the pupils performed all tasks with interest and showed positive emotions. “The main goal of such lessons is to form the foundations of ecological culture among the younger generation”, the teachers noted.
An administrative fine of 50 thousand rubles was imposed on the organization by a court decision. The legal entity avoided fulfilling the requirements of inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, namely, did not provide the requested information on time. Failure to comply with the legal requirements of the official became an obstacle to the conduct of an administrative investigation under Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Waste from construction and repair work was identified by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on the Lenina street in Vasilyevo town-settlement. Violation of environmental legislation became known through the “People's Control” system. The total area of the littered area was 180 square meters, the volume was 32 cubic meters.
