Within the walls of the Kazan Innovation University named after V. G. Timiryasov, the live stages of the competitions of the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be Pure" of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Republican Competition of Environmental Scientific, Practical and Research works "PROeco" and the Republican Career guidance competition "EcoSkills" were held.

"Nature is a priceless gift" – inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an eco-lesson on this topic at the Pushkin Lyceum No. 9.  Environmentalists told the children about the importance of caring for nature, ways to reduce the consumption of plastic in everyday life, garbage collection and recycling.

Among the main topics: sorting of waste, use of recyclable materials, recycling of garbage. Some sections are supplemented with games and links to educational cartoons and videos.

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Shadrikov, took part in a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Regulating the operation of reservoirs of the Volzhsko-Kamsky Cascade via videoconference.

During the event, the issues of completing the period of passing the spring flood and the transition of the waterworks of the reservoirs of the Volzhsko-Kamsky cascade to the low-water mode of operation were considered.

The Association of "green" Universities of Russia, whose activities are implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, has announced the start of the all-Russian competition "Battle of Cases" Alive Volga" among higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of the competition, students will try their hand at developing applied solutions to the problem of pollution of the main waterway of the country and will have a chance to win prizes.

Today, the department continued work on vaccinating specialists against COVID-19. A two-component vector vaccine "Sputnik V" was used. First, the employees were tested for antibodies, then, after filling out the necessary documents, they were vaccinated.

2 km south of the village of Novoe Shugurovo, Leninogorsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration found unauthorized placement of construction waste. The landfill area was 1000 sq. m. Delivery notes were found among the garbage. According to environmentalists, presumably, the waste was brought from the town of Bugulma.

Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, the inspectors of the Volzhsko-Kamsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected Chistopol district. During the survey of the territory of Chistopol, an unauthorized landfill with a total area of 100 square meters was identified; the volume was 10 cubic meters.
