The V All-Russian Congress on Environmental Protection and the II International Exhibition and Forum "Ecotech" will be the final events of the Year of Ecology. Within the framework of the congress, the results of work in the field of environmental protection for four years will be summed up and plans for the next period will be outlined. Participants of the event will be representatives of Russia's top leadership.

200 cleanups, 120 lessons about nature, 6 children's ECO-festivals, 3 shifts in tents in children's camps. Today the youth ecological movement of the Republic of Tatarstan Budetchisto summed up the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces. At the solemn event held in Kazan, 350 top movement activists from 43 districts and 2 cities of federal significance gathered. "These are the people who, by their example, show how to protect nature. They inspire the rest to solve environmental issues in their native republic.

Measures for the neutralization of pollutants were taken at one of the Naberezhnye Chelny car washes. Pursuant to the order of the inspectors of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, a water treatment system was installed at the enterprise. The complex of measures taken has become a method of solving a violation previously discovered by environmentalists.

The inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan switched to intensified working regime to prevent unauthorized storage of snow. Night inspections are conducted. In the spring, when snow melts, chemicals, debris and other contaminants can get into the soil, water objects, which is unacceptable, – environmentalists explain. Snow should be moved to designated sites, where all the necessary requirements are taken into account and the environment is not harmed. Today in Kazan there are 6 snow melting stations.

The final decision on the dispute regarding the involvement of the company in the pollution of the river Stepnoi Zai delivered the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. In May this year, specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office checked the maximum permissible concentrations of substances in the said water body. 

The city children's ecological and biological center of Kazan and the Republican Olympiad Center invite pupils of grades 1-11 to participate in the republican open socio-ecological contest "Let's preserve the nature of Tatarstan". It is aimed at the formation of ecological thinking and culture among the younger generation, the development of schoolchildren's interest in the preservation and enhancement of the natural wealth of Tatarstan.

The Zavolzhskoye territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by the Buinsk lyceum students. Within the framework of this event, students got acquainted with the activities of nature activists. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology told them about nature protection measures, demonstrated how the laboratory works. 

Message on the formation of landfill from construction debris was received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. To examine the sanitary and ecological state of this territory, the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration visited Biryusovaya street in the village of Konstantinovka. During the visit, the violation of environmental requirements was confirmed. Special vehicles operated on-site. In addition, ecologists detected other violations. Storage of dumps of eroded soils within the boundaries of the coastal protective strip, work related to changes in the bottom and shores of the water body, cutting and storage of trees.

Operation of the treatment facilities were optimized in the Drozhzhanovsky district. At the enterprise, the aeration system was reconstructed and filters of sewage treatment were replaced. The management carried out environmental measures was after the inspection of environmentalists. During the monitoring, experts of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan established that the discharge of sewage of the enterprise caused pollution of the river. 

About 300 ECO-lessons were held within the framework of the Year of Ecology in the Prikamsky region. The best activists of these events were awarded in the City Palace of Children and Youth Creativity No. 1 of Autograd. Experts of the Prikamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that the schoolchildren and teachers of Naberezhnye Chelny took an active part in conservation activities.
