An administrative fine of up to 100 thousand rubles for failure to pay a fee for a negative impact on the environment. The protocol on committing an administrative offense was drawn up by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in respect of two Almetyevsk companies. As environmentalists explained, construction waste generated by the activities of organizations was disposed by dumping at the landfill site.

Pupils of 8-11 grades of the Russian Federation (grades 6-11 - for participants in the propaganda team) are invited to participate in XIX city open environmental forum "Zilant". On January 1, 2019, a number of amendments to the Federal Law “On Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal” will come into force. If now in order to prevent a negative environmental impact, the Rosprirodnadzor Department for RT sets out standards for permissible discharges of pollutants, other substances and microorganisms for large subscribers of centralized sewage disposal systems, then this requirement is no longer valid from the new year. From the beginning of 2019, all subscribers of centralized sewage networks will have to comply with the standards for wastewater composition, which, in turn, are established by local authorities in order to protect water bodies from pollution.

Operation of economic and other objects within the boundaries of water protection zones is allowed only under the condition of ensuring protection of water bodies, environmentalists warn. Another violation of the Water Code of the Russian Federation near the Stepnoy Zai River was discovered by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Construction trailers belonging to one of the Almetyevsk companies were installed in the water protection zone in the absence of special facilities for discharge of wastewater, including rainwater, snowmelt, irrigation water and drainage water.

In our time, the problems of environmental education have come to the fore, and they are receiving more and more attention. In order to foster environmental education an environmental lesson was held in the premises of "Fedorovskiy secondary school named after E.G.Tutayev" in Kaybitskiy district.

In 2018, 10,574 messages were received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception Office. Most of them – 5,605 - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. According to the “People’s control” system, ecologists reviewed 1,339 messages, 1,340 notifications via WhatsApp, Telegram, Eco.signal, “Hotline” communication channels. 2,290 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

Children of the Chistopol kindergarten No. 20 entered the ranks of young nature conservationists - ekolyat-preschoolers. Experts of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told their young assistants about the rules of behavior in the winter forest, and how to properly make a bird feeder.
