We are always hoping and waiting for this wonderful holiday, associated with good feelings and innermost desires, by tradition, we recall all major events, professional achievements and make plans for the future.

A man was closely associated with the environment at all stages of his development. With the appearance of industrial society the human impact on nature has become larger and more destructive. Now chemical pollution has become the most significant thing. The students of 10-11 classes of Lyceum №116, named after the Hero of the Soviet Union A. S. Umerkin, devoted their works to the study of how to reduce the consequences of negative impact.  The scientific and practical conference, dedicated to such field of science as "chemical ecology", was held based on the educational institution.

The seventh application campaign for the national award "Crystal Compass" is launched. Applications for participation are accepted from citizens of the Russian Federation and other countries, creative unions, domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises that have implemented projects in the field of geography and ecology, preserving and promoting the natural, historical and cultural heritage. It is not difficult to hand over the used batteries in Kazan.  "Since the start of the campaign for disposal of batteries in Kazan it was collected more than 11 tons of batteries during the year. "A truck KAMAZ full of waste sources of a small current went for recycling in Chelyabinsk," - said the expert on work with clients of Povolzhsk Ecology Company, Dmitry Makarov.

Implementation of environmental protection measures in the Republic of Tatarstan was carried out in 2018 at the expense of all levels of budget.

50.5 million rubles were raised from the federal budget for implementation of 9 environmental protection measures.

Within the framework of the federal target program “Development of Water Sector of the Russian Federation in 2012–2020,” work on the overhaul of 3 hydraulic structures began. 404.1 million rubles were allocated from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for implementation of 84 environmental protection measures. Agreements to ensure the implementation of 208 environmental protection measures totaling 274.5 million rubles were signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of 43 municipal districts and 2 urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2018. As of December 27, 143 events were implemented for the amount of 208.79 million rubles.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a joint meeting of the working group on preparation of proposals for development of a project for development of natural-recreational spaces on the coastal territory of the Kuybyshev reservoir near the Zaymishche village of Zelenodolskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Public Council of the Ministry.

New Year is the most long-awaited and joyful holiday for children. They expect gifts, yet holy believing in the existence of all fairy-tale characters. Today a children's New Year performance took place in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. This has already become a good tradition. To the sounds of music and children’s discordant appeals in gorgeous costumes, Father Frost and the beautiful Snow Maiden appeared. Children and fairy-tale heroes had fun in front of the Christmas tree shining with multicolored lights: they sang, danced, recited poems, participated in fun games.

Results of the outgoing 2018 were summed up today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The awards were presented to the employees of the department by Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the anti-corruption Commission, chaired by the first Deputy Minister, Rustem Kamalov. In addition, the work plan of the anti-corruption Commission under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019 was approved. In the course of the event a list of specific measures and instructions, aimed at enhancing work in the considered directions of activity and prevention of corruption, was developed.
