In the course of supervisory measures, from the beginning of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, specialists of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration identified 43 sites for unauthorized disposal of waste. Of these, four materials were submitted to the prosecution authorities, three to the district executive committees, four more materials to the judicial authorities with a claim for taking measures to eliminate garbage.
From May 14 to 17, the 21st International Scientific and Industrial Forum “Great Rivers (Environmental, Hydrometeorological, Energy Security)’ ICEF” will be held in Nizhny Novgorod. The forum is aimed at reviewing the main directions of sustainable development of regions in the basins of the great rivers of the world, demonstrating the best experience, innovative technologies and equipment for purifying natural and waste waters, and improving the environmental situation in the basins of the great rivers.

It will be held from May 31 to June 1 on the basis of the health and educational complex “Baitik”.
As part of the sanitary-environmental bimonthly period, a Saturday voluntary cleanup day was held in Leninogorskiy district. Employees of organizations and enterprises, educational institutions of the district went to clean the fixed areas of parks and streets. In total, more than 1,800 people took part.
In order to draw attention to the issues of flora protection an environmental campaign “Save Primroses” was conducted in Chistopol kindergarten No. 20 “Mosaic”. The children guessed riddles, read poems, stories, found out which plants are endangered and belong to the species listed in the Red Book of Tatarstan.
They acquainted the children with the rules of behavior in forests and told about the role of nature in human life. In Chistopol kindergarten number 22 a virtual trip to the spring forest took place. The preschool children, acting as members of the Forest Watch detachment, studied the measures of nature conservation. In order to consolidate the knowledge gained, the specialist of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Yudanov spoke with young ecologists.
Eco-lessons - an excellent opportunity to show children how necessary it is! Employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson in Ryabinka kindergarten of Almetyevskiy district. The children clearly saw how water is polluted in nature and in practice learned about the methods of its purification.
An adventure sports and intellectual game on ecology, local history and urban orienteering of the Tat-Rus project was held in Kazan for the nineteenth time. About 300 people gathered in the Literary Museum named after Gabdulla Tukay, starting point to take part and become the originators of the map of smells of the Old Tatar settlement. The event was held in the form of a quest.
