“Hand over the battery - save life of a hedgehog” - an environmental campaign to collect spent chemical current sources was initiated at the Central Library in Arsk town. For 4 months, a good start was supported by about a thousand residents of the district. Among the participants of the collection are readers of the central and rural libraries, as well as pupils of kindergartens of the town. Each participant contributed to protection of the environment, totally more than 50 thousand batteries were collected.

Activities of the Tatar Joint-Stock Production Association have been suspended for 90 days. This decision was made based on the results of consideration of the claim of environmentalists by the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Applications for participation in the “Development - SOPR” competition (socially oriented projects) are accepted until July 15, 2019. Welcoming the participants, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov noted that over 1 million 178 thousand people supported the rally in the republic: “This is a large, huge team of Tatarstan people, who have dedicated their time, have made efforts, connected their friends and acquaintances to make our republic cleaner”.

The area of ​​cluttering the territory was 1,000 square meters. On this fact, the head of the rural settlement was given an order for the mandatory liquidation of the unauthorized landfill.

Eco-literacy lesson was held in the Kama children's recreation camp. The camp is located on the bank of the Kama River, which contributes to the assimilation of new information about nature. Specialists from the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan talked with children about separate collection of garbage, useful ecological practices, and plants of their native land listed in the Red Book.

In the framework of celebration of World Environment Day, an environmental event was held in the Teremok kindergarten in Buinsk town. Employees of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told the children where the garbage is sent, and what happens when people do not care about sorting it. In the course of the lesson, children were given eco-starts for proper and clever separation of waste.
