Two sites of illegal waste disposal were identified by specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on Menzelinsky Trakt Street and Industrial Passage in Naberezhnye Chelny. “The activities here are conducted without an appropriate license. Landfill area – 2,500 square meters and 4,725 square meters respectively. Vehicles transporting waste to illegal landfills will face administrative punishment under part 1 of article 8.2 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

During the regular raid, employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of illegal sand mining in Leninogorskiy district. During the audit it turned out that the extraction of common minerals (sand) was carried out using special equipment: two excavators and KAMAZ trucks. Environmentalists drew up a protocol on administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation in relation to the legal entity for implementation of illegal earthworks.

The Reception of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from a resident of Tetyushskiy district about the dump. During the inspection, the fact of violation was confirmed. Violation of environmental legislation was promptly eliminated by the Executive Committee of the Monastyrskiy rural settlement of Tetyushskiy municipal district.

Bio-resources of the Kuibyshev Reservoir were replenished by 14 thousand young sterlets. The stocking was carried out in the area of ​​the Kama Reach of ATC-Garant OOO and Avtostrada AO. The event is a compensatory measure and is carried out by organizations that use water resources or develop subsoil in water areas. First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Environmental Protection Fayaz Shakirov took part in an interagency meeting on ensuring the rule of law in the field of handling solid municipal waste, chaired by the First Deputy of Volga Interregional Environmental Prosecutor Elena Makushenko. In his speech, he touched on the topic of activities of the Ministry in terms of environmental oversight in the field of waste management.

The first raid on inspection of vehicles transporting municipal solid waste to the Vostochny solid waste landfill was carried out by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with employees of the Office for Combating Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Traffic Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan.

As a result, over 8 hours of work, public service employees inspected 64 vehicles. 6 violations were revealed.

Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal about the garbage dump behind the shopping center on Avtozavodsky Prospect of Naberezhnye Chelny from local residents. The fact of violation of environmental laws was confirmed - the area of ​​an unauthorized waste storage site was 15 square meters. As a result of an administrative investigation under Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, currently, unauthorized waste disposal has been eliminated.

The lakeside of the “Romantic” health camp near the Malye Lyzi village of Baltasinskiy district was cleaned up as part of the republican campaign “Clean Shore”. Saturday voluntary clean-up day was carried out by forces of caring residents of the district and the Forpost youth movement. “Today we have collected 15 bags of garbage: plastic bottles, rotten trees, plastic bags”.

“The situation in the basin of the Volga-Kama cascade of reservoirs was normalized due to the joint intensive work. The immediate response and timely measures taken for the rational use of water resources helped to reach the desired water level by the planned period”, emphasized Aleksandr Shadrikov, Head of the environmental department in his speech.
