Gathering of citizens and opening of a rural house of culture took place in Stepnoye Ozero village of Nurlatskiy district. It was attended by the Head of Nurlatskiy district Almaz Akhmetshin and the Curator of the district, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov. At the gathering of citizens, the Head of the settlement Riyaz Sadykov reported on the work done, reported on the resolution of issues raised at the last gathering of citizens.

More than 7 cubic meters of garbage were collected from the shores of Podbornoye Lake in Nizhnekamskiy district as part of the “Clean Coast” campaign. The cleaning of the territory was attended by specialists from the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the RT State Committee for Biological Resources, active gardeners, youth and representatives of public organizations - more than 40 people in total.

Non-Governmental Environmental Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation together with the All-Russian Society for the Conservation of Nature, ANO Expocentre “Zapovedniki Rossii” and the Interregional Ecological Public Organization GREENLIFE announced the holding of the II All-Russian contest “The Best Eco-Volunteer Team”. Applications are accepted until September 30, 2019. Volunteer groups, uniting citizens aged 10 and more, who have implemented socio-environmental projects, are invited to participate.

Two similar violations of soil pollution by oil products were identified by specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in April and November 2017. Then the company was brought to administrative responsibility under part 2 of article 8.6 of Administrative Code in the form of a fine of 160 thousand rubles. However, the payment of a fine does not relieve the violators of environmental legislation of liability for harm caused to nature. The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the environmental claims in the amount of 3,451,300 rubles.

Since the beginning of the year, 7,653 appeals have been received by the Republican public reception office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Most of them – 4,424 - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. According to the People’s Control system, environmentalists examined 827 messages, 1041 notifications were received via WhatsApp, Telegram, Eco.signal, and Hotline. At personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry 1,361 appeals were received.

Public discussions on project documentation “Reclamation of an unauthorized landfill, located in the area of Prosti village of Nizhnekamskiy district of the Republic of Tatarstan” took place in Prosti village of Nizhnekamskiy district. Financing for the project implementation is expected under the federal project “Clean Country” in the framework of the national project “Ecology”.

Children of different ages learned a lot of interesting facts about nature and ways to preserve it. Employees of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson in the children's recreation camp “Chaika” of Drozhzhanovskiy district. Participants were trained in the proper management of waste, they learned about the duration of decomposition of various materials, about what can be made from recycled materials.

Automatic stations for monitoring atmospheric pollution in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk did not record excesses of maximum permissible concentrations. Stationary posts operate continuously, data for analysis are transmitted to the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

It should be noted that indicators on the state of atmospheric air on the website of the Office of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan are presented without taking into account inaccuracy.

Failure to comply with the terms of the license agreement. This violation was recorded by employees of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a raid on the water area of ​​the Nizhnekamsk reservoir. As it turned out, a dredger K-3412 carried out the extraction of sand and gravel on the Kama river outside the boundaries of the agreed area. In relation to the subsoil user, a protocol on an administrative offense is drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 7.3 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

On August 17, Naberezhnye Chelny will host the annual republican campaign of the Russian Geographical Society, dedicated to cleaning the bottom territories of urban water bodies and coastal zones.
