Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the State Committee for Biological Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, drilled holes in Lake Nizhniy Kaban, Volga Region, Kazan in order to prevent fish killing. In total, more than 50 holes were drilled.

A large landfill with an area of 6,000 square meters was revealed by employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a raid in Leninogorskiy district. An administrative investigation is underway under Art. 8.2 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
