An expanded meeting of the Volga-Kama Interregional Administration of the Federal Service for the Supervision of Natural Resources was held today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of representatives of ministries and departments, law enforcement agencies, large enterprises of three republics: Tatarstan, Mari El and Chuvashia. The Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Svetlana Radionova and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event on results of work of the department. The meeting participants familiarized themselves with the technologies introduced at the enterprises in order to minimize the negative impact on the environment.
Interesting lessons on separate collection and recycling of waste were conducted by specialists of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in schools No. 7 and No. 15 of Nizhnekamsk. During the lessons, the guys held quizzes, solved crosswords, actively answered questions - thus, they learned to see not ordinary garbage in waste but raw materials for recycling and came to the conclusion that separate collection is useful for the environment and the economy.
Federal experts were presented the activities of the region in terms of implementation of the national project “Ecology”, development of the water sector, implementation of targeted measures, as well as supervisory activities and environmental monitoring. Discussion of environmental responsibility issues will be a key topic in the framework of the meeting of the Volga expert club in Kazan.
The fact that the swamp is a natural reservoir and can appear in two ways was learned by pupils of secondary school No. 111 of Kazan at an environmental lesson conducted by specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The children were shown a film about wetlands, and they were also told in detail about the functions of the swamps.
291 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.

The First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Fayaz Shakirov and the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Gilyazov got acquainted with the results of work of seven territorial administrations. During the events, the leaders of territorial administrations made reports on the work done for the year, the efforts of which were aimed at solving priority problems in the field of environmental safety and the rational use of natural resources.
To respect and instill a love for nature, be prepared to preserve and protect it - this was the topic of lessons held by specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan at secondary school No. 25 and secondary school No. 55 in Naberezhnye Chelny. During the lessons, the pupils watched a filmstrip about ecology and played the game “Earth. Water. Air”, reflected on popular sayings, thereby consolidated their knowledge.
In order to form an ecological culture among the younger generation, responsibility for the consequences of human activities, and to foster a respect for nature, a republican contest of children’s associations of municipal regions of the republic “Earth Breath” is held annually.
Together with the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republican Public Movement “Tatarstan –New Century”, on the basis of the Institute of Ecological Problems of the Republic of Tatarstan, a training workshop on topic “Innovative Technologies for Developing Ecological Competence of Workers of Cultural and Leisure Institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan” was held. The event was attended by scientists from the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan (IPEN), specialists from the Kazan City Children's Ecological and Biological Center and Kazan Open University of Talents 2.0.

The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Menzelinskiy district initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Art. 258 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal hunting).
