Today, during the ministerial meeting, the results of the work done by the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration for the first half of 2020 were heard. Since January of this year, specialists from Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration have identified 173 violations of environmental legislation, drawn up 114 administrative protocols, issued 35 resolutions. Fines in the amount of 1 million 270 thousand rubles were imposed, 1 million 60 thousand rubles were collected.

In the first half of 2020, the department took measures to intensify supervision over the implementation of laws on environmental protection and natural resource use, which contributed to strengthening the rule of law, suppressing illegal actions, protecting state interests, restoring violated rights of citizens.

4,215 applications have been received by the Republican Public Ecological Reception since the beginning of the year.

1,285 of them - through the mobile application “School eco-patrol”.

Let us recall that the reconstruction of the enclosing dam on the left bank of the Kama river was launched on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the expense of the republican budget. The implementation period is 2020-2021.

The spill of sewage on the ground and into the stream was recorded by inspectors of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on the territory of one of the enterprises in Agryz. During the inspection, it was established that a pipe was taken out of the sewer well, through which the contaminated water first fell on the ground and then flowed into an unnamed stream. The area of ​​the contaminated site was 16 square meters.

To date, the reasons and conditions that contributed to the commission of an administrative offense have been eliminated in full.

In accordance with the roadmap for the implementation of a pilot project in the Republic of Tatarstan the necessary production facilities have been created for handling mercury-containing waste of hazard classes I and II on the basis of the Kazan branch of the “Privolzhsky Territorial District” branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Environmental Operator”.

The imminent suspension of activity prompted the Vtormet Group of Companies to fulfill the environmentalists’ order. The case of violation of the rules of SanPiN during the operation of the site for the collection of scrap metal should have been considered in the Vakhitovskiy District Court, but on the eve of the meeting, the violation was eliminated.

The meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the agenda includes issues of further ecological rehabilitation of the Maloye Lebyazhye, Bolshoye Lebyazhye and Svetloye Lebyazhye lakes. The event was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources Ramil Sharafutdinov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Improvement Eduard Vafin. Director of the RAS Institute of Lake Science Shamil Pozdnyakov was also invited to the meeting as an expert.

Reception of citizens in the videoconference mode was held in the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The citizens paid the main attention to the issues of water resources protection. As a result of the event, the residents were given explanations, the relevant information on the issues raised was brought to the executive committees of the municipal districts of the republic to develop the necessary documentation.

Construction waste in the form of brick breakage was revealed by inspectors of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan during a helicopter flight. During the inspection, it was established that this land plot is owned by a legal entity. To make a decision, the materials of the administrative case were sent to the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.
