The briefing with participation of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector for Nature Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. He informed that for the purposes of more operative detection of the sitesof unauthorized quarry development, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan used several e-services – reception of public appeals via e-mail and mobile communication devices ensuring feedback of the population. Starting from December18, 2014 citizens can send messages informing on the places of unauthorized quarry development at 267-68-67oreco.signal@tatar.ru. It is necessary to register make and plate number of equipment used at the quarry, precise work area with reference to specific orienting points, time and date of registration, and contact information.Anonymity is guaranteed.

Research-to-Practice Conference “Ecological safety in power economy: experience, problems, innovative solutions” is held these days in Moscow.The issues regarding current system of statutory regulation in the field of ecology, a complex of measures and a procedure for implementation of measures on nature protection carried out atelectrical energy industry companies in compliance with applicable requirements of supervisory authorities, as well as implementation of new innovation technologiesare discussed in the framework of the event.

The Interregional contest of ecological drawingsstarted in St. Petersburg for pupils of 5-11 forms of secondary schools, colleges, and vocational schools.
The contest is aimed at fostering of careful attitude to the environment and natural resources; enhancement of ecological culture and responsibility of the young generation with regard to the environment.

The international contest “School for ecology” started in Moscow. The contest is aimed at attraction of pupils’ attention to environmental problems that they face in their city on a daily basis.Participants suggest specific ideas and carry out campaigns intended for improvement of ecological situation and attraction of public attention to it. Pupils of forms 7 – 10 can send their pieces of work until February 15, 2015.

Today, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized with operation of the system for collection and recuperation of fuel vaporsinstalled at the gas filling stationof the Holding company “Tatnefteproduct” OJSC of Kazan on Lesozavodskaya str. 1.
Equipment of gas filling stations of the Republic of Tatarstan with systems for collection and recuperation of gas vapors is one of efficient ways to reducenegative impact of motor transport on the air basin state. In the course of the first stage–up to the end of 2015 —facilities for supply of oil products carry out work on equipment of gas filling stations owned by them within the time limits of theapproved programs. In Kazan, 58 gas filling stations have already been equipped with systems for collection of motor fuel vapors.

These days, Nizhnekamsk Children’s Ecological and Biological Centerholds theIVRepublican Ecological Festival of schools “Nature and us”. Technical training for the specialists of the Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control of the Volga-Kama Territorial Department was carried out today at the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event is aimed at preparation of the specialistsof the Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control for accreditation in 2015.Legal framework of the current nationalaccreditation system was reviewed in the process of the training. An extended meeting of the High Ecological Council under the State Duma for Natural Resources, Nature Use and Ecology is held in Moscow today on “Improvement oflegal and regulatory framework in the context of implementation of provisions of the Federal LawNo. 219-ФЗ “On making amendments to the Federal Law ‘On nature protection’ and individual legal acts of the Russian Federation”. The First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participates in the event.In his address, the Chairperson of the State Duma Committee for Natural Resources, Nature Use and Ecology, Vladimir Kashin, favorably rated the work of chemical companies of the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, he acknowledged work with highly hazardous wastes. “Today, in Tatarstan we can seeadvanced execution of the law on standardization”, emphasized Vladimir Kashin.

Experts of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized with operation of the closed system for discharge of oil products with collection of fuel vaporsfrom reservoirs andfuel-dispensing units into truck tanks for further removal of vapors and their recirculation at the gas filling stationof “Tri-N” LLC located in Naberezhnye Chelny. Today, 32 gas filling stations in Naberezhnye Chelnyare equipped with the systems for fuel vapor collection.

The II International Research-to-Practice conference “Formation of ecological culture in the young generation” is held these days in St. Petersburg. The aim of the conference is to review the matters regarding formation of ecological culture in the young generation, identification of key tasks promoting optimization of ecological education, enlightenment, upbringing, and improvement of the general level of ecological culture in children and their parents.Discussions, master classes and business games aimed at learning of the methodology of working on the project as an innovation form of ecological, cultural and educational activity are held in the framework of the conference.
