The work on equipment of gas filling stations with systems for collection and recuperation of fuel vapors continues in Tatarstan.
Experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized today with operation of the closed system for dischargeof oil products at the gas filling station of “Picnic” LLC located on43 Chelyuskinastr. in Kazan. The system implies collection of fuel vaporsfrom reservoirs and fuel-dispensing units into road-tankers for further removal of vapors and their recuperation at oil delivery terminals.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Volga Interregional Nature Protection Prosecutor Veniamin Selifanov.The meeting was held on March11, 2015 at the Government House of Tatarstan. The Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov,the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, the prosecutor of Kazan InterdistrictNature Protection Prosecutor’s Office Oleg Daminovparticipated in it.The matters regarding enforcement of nature protection legislation on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed in the course of the meeting.
A Children’s Ecological and BiologicalCenter together with the Educational Department of the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department for Environment Protection hold a contest of children’s creative work“Clean forests of Tatarstan”. Contest is aimed at fostering of ecological culture in the young generation, and enhancement of pupils’ interest to historical and natural heritage of the motherland. The contest will be held from March 20 to September 1, 2015 in order to augment educational and creative activity of pupils during summer holidays.
Applications to participate in the II Regional Research-to-Practice Ecological Conferencefor junior pupils“Young naturalist 2015” are accepted on March 10 – 27, 2015at the Municipal Autonomous Educational Establishment of Further Education of Children “Children’s Ecological and BiologicalCenter No. 4”. Pupils of secondary educational establishments and further educational establishmentsfor children from 7 to 11 years of age (1- 5 forms) can participate in the conference. The work implies obligatory presence of experimental and research parts, identification of work objectives and obtainment offinal or intermediary results with regard to the set target. It is obligatory for the contestant to personally participate in experimental and research parts.
