According to numerous appeals of citizens about the discharge of sewage and fish poisoning on the Sredniy Kaban Lake on the Technical street of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry together with representatives of the Srednyvolzhsky Territorial Administration of Russian Federal Fisheries Agency carried out a visit to the territory. During the survey, no sewage discharge was detected, mass fish mortality was confirmed.
Specialists of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control took samples of natural water. According to the results of the quantitative analysis, minor excesses were found for sulfates, iron and manganese.
Due to the fact that an organization that discharges into a water body and is subject to federal supervision is located on this territory, the results of laboratory studies were transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources in the Republic of Tatarstan for taking measures.
