A fine of about a million rubles threatens “OPU-30” OOO for dumping chemical waste

The discharge of contaminated wastewater into the Maly stream was prevented by inspectors from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A metal pipe diverted into the water body was recorded at the end of August. With the help of the detector, it was found out that the pipeline was stretched from the territory of the enterprise “OPU-30” OOO. The effluents had a specific pungent odor, and toxic chemical waste belonging to hazard class 3 was found in the composition.

An administrative investigation is underway.
