Tatarstan will join the All-Russian campaign “Water of Russia”

On May 15, 2019, for the first time, within the framework of the National Project “Ecology”, the All-Russian Ecological Campaign “Water of Russia” will take place on the territory of the Admiralteiskaya Sloboda (coastal zone of the Volga River). A direct link will bring together participants from five constituent entities of the Russian Federation: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volgograd Republic, the Ulyanovsk, Ivanovo, and Tver Regions.

It is planned to clear the territory of the riverside from debris and to take water samples. Divers will clean the bottom of the river from garbage. The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Russian Geographical Society (Dmitry Avgustovich Schiller).
