The raid at the Birch grove

Today, in the framework of a two-month ecological and sanitary campaign, fellow workers of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with representatives of mass media conducted a raid at the Birch grove, where an unauthorized waste disposal site was detected in the course of flying around the territory of Kazan City and its suburbs on Sunday.
The Birch grove near the Mirny settlement is a traditional recreation area for city dwellers, as well as a popular local site for unauthorized storage of household and construction wastes.
Piles of wooden boxes, household and construction wastes were seen not far from the entrance to the square. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department managed to find the law breakers, including private entrepreneurs, organizations and one of the military units.
