Illegal mining and export of limestone are prevented in Almetyevskiy district. Preliminary damage caused to the subsoil - 8 million rubles

Fact of illegal mining is discovered by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration in Almetyevskiy district. The license for geological study of the Novotroitskoye site was issued to a Kazan enterprise. However, during the raids, state inspectors repeatedly recorded facts of limestone mining in this area. “In different time intervals, we found working excavators and loaders, abandoned equipment and traces of exploitation. We also managed to trace the paths of further implementation of common mineral resources. The preliminary damage caused to the subsoil amounted to about 8 million rubles”, said environmentalists.
