Voluntary Saturday clean-up days of the territories are held today throughout the republic. Tatarstan residents joined the environmental campaigns "General cleaning of the country", "Green Russia" and "Let's do it" in the framework of the World Clean-up Day.
Over 200 people gathered in the "Golubye ozera" protected area, which became the central area for the voluntary Saturday clean-up day in Kazan. The coastal area of the reservoir was cleaned by the employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatar Environmental Protection Inter-district Prosecutor's Office, the Kazan Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office, representatives of the Russian Geographical Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, the youth ecological movement "Will be clean", "All-Russian People's Front" and others.
