Efficiency of the federal and regional state ecological control over the activity of enterprises in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District.

     The working session concerning ecological safety in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District was held last week in Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the first Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov.

     The Head of municipal entity “Nizhnekamsk Municipal District” of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aydar Metshin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Alyashev, as well as representatives of the Rosprirodnadzor and Rospotrebnadzor federal agencies for the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the session.

     Issues on the activity of nature protection organizations, efficiency and strengthening of the federal and regional state ecological control over the activity of enterprises in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District were discussed at the session along with preliminary results of unscheduled inspection.

     Following the session results, the decision was made to strengthen the measures aimed at carrying out the federal state ecological monitoring activities within the territory of Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, as well as submitting the inspection results with regard to the activity of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, OOO Nizhnekamskneftekhim-Divinil, PSC “TAIF-NK” to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

     A joint session of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Administration of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan is to be held in March of the current year with the participation of the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, OAO “KNPU Orgneftekhimzavod” and the federal and republican authorities concerned.
