The 20th International Scientific Industrial forum "Great Rivers" (environmental, hydrometeorological, energy safety) "ICEF" will be held on May 15-18 in Nizhny Novgorod. The forum will become a place of demonstration of advanced technologies, a platform for sharing practical experiences and discussing the main issues of the industry. It will enable to attract the attention of the public, representatives of state and commercial structures to reasonable managing of water resources and to the challehging ecological situation in this area.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
