Mass trees planting in Almetyevo district

3000 pines and fir trees. This is how many young seedlings were planted on the territory of Almetyevo district within the framework of the “Forest Week” campaign. The employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of the Almetyevo Municipal District, the Department of Ecology and Nature Management of the Almetyevo Municipal District and Almetyevo Forestry took part in the mass trees planting. “The ecological significance of forests is extremely high. Therefore, it is so important to take measures to conserve and restore green spaces on the territory of the region and the whole republic,” the environmentalists noted.

Residents from all over Tatarstan actively joined to the environmental campaign “Forest Week”. By common efforts, a 350 hectare area has been planted with about a million young trees.
