Applications are accepted for participation in second All-Russian contest “Climate and Responsibility-2017”

Within the framework of the Year of Ecology, the second all-Russian contest “Climate and Responsibility-2017” was announced, which participants can become subjects, municipalities and organizations of Russia. It is conducted with the aim of drawing attention to the problem of climate change, identifying and disseminating best practices in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating the corporate culture and achievements in this area.

The contest includes the following nominations:

- “The best organization in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions among the manufacturing organizations, emitting more than 150 thousand tons of CO2-eq. in year”,

- “The best organization in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions among non-manufacturing organizations and small businesses (with a staff of up to 100 people),”

- “The best subject of the Russian Federation in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions”,

- “The best municipal entity in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”

For participation it is necessary to submit an application on the contest organizer website, Association “Etalon” (https://www.aetalon.ru/klimat-i-otvetstvennost) before December 1, 2017.

The results of the contest will be summed up in December within the framework of the V All-Russian Environmental Protection Congress and the II International Exhibition and Forum “ECOTECH”.
