International Scientific Conference “Chemistry and Engineering Ecology XVII” in Kazan

The International Scientific Conference (School of Young Scientists) “Chemistry and Engineering Ecology – XVII” is taking place these days in Kazan. The event, dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia and the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan, was organized on the basis of the Kazan National Research Technical University named after Tupolev-KAI. The event is attended by teachers and students of higher educational institutions in Russia and abroad.
On the first day of the conference, the participants made presentations, discussed issues of engineering protection of the environment, environmental and industrial safety, environmental monitoring and control, environmental chemistry, and the teaching of disciplines in the field of technospheric security. Today the program of the conference was continued by the contest of youth scientific projects. Students demonstrated their own scientific developments and ideas. “Events of this level are an excellent opportunity for young specialists to learn something new, share their ideas with teachers and professors, and ask questions of interest. The scientific conference is a platform for building constructive dialogue, for the exchange of experience and knowledge,” said Raisa Shagidullina, head of the department of state environmental impact assessment and regulation of environmental impact of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, within the framework of the conference, the semifinal selection of the Federal Program of the State Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere “UMNIK” will be held – the Participant of the Youth Scientific and Innovation Contest.
