Nature lovers from all corners of Tatarstan gathered at the event, timed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Young naturalists movement in Russia. Aleksandr Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, greeted the participants of the festival: "Speaking about the 100th anniversary of the Young naturalists movement, whose representatives first visited the ecological expedition on June 15, 1918, we recall both rich history and all that goodness that do young naturalists to this day. Many thanks to teachers for the upbringing of the younger generation.

Unauthorized discharge of sewage into the Elhovka River was discovered by inspectors of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The residents of the Yurtovo village of Menzelinskiy district appealed to environmentalists with a complaint about violation of environmental legislation. Having left at the address indicated by them, the inspectors found that the storage tanks and pit basin for collection of domestic wastewater from 8 apartment blocks of the village are overcrowded.

During the examination of the territory of the Pestrechinskiy District, the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan suppressed the fact of unauthorized removal and transfer of the fertile soil layer near the Staroye Shigaleevo village. Excavation work without relevant documents was carried out by 5 dump trucks and 1 tractor-loader.

Young Tatarstan residents aged 3 to 18 can participate in the All-Russian Children's Painting Competition "Colorful Drops". The goal is to popularize ideas of water conservation and respect for water resources among preschool children, schoolchildren, their parents and the pedagogical community.

The history of the development of the Young naturalists movement, the features of the directions on which young naturalists worked for a century and interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the republic. On June 19 the Republican festival of young naturalists will be held in the Krutushka village of the Vysokogorskiy district. The organizers of the event, dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Young naturalists movement in Russia, are the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Youth Environmental Movement "Will Be Clean," the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center in Kazan.

About the Volga, Kama and Vyatka. The children resting in "Almaly" camp of Agryzskiy district managed to learn more about large water objects of the republic and to replenish luggage of knowledge. An eco-lesson was organized there by specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

20 square meters of the territory of unauthorized waste disposal were recorded by the inspectors of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The complaint to the landfill came from the inhabitants of the village of Bolshoy Afanasovo, Nizhnekamskiy district.

An educational holiday devoted to the problem of environmental pollution and garbage processing was held in the kindergarten "Belakech" of the Vysokogorskiy district. Competing with each other, kindergartners cleaned the "fairy forest" from plastic, paper and other wastes, deciphered the ecological signs on the packages and shared the garbage on the containers.

The reservoirs were inspected and samples of water were taken. Today, on the first day of the 2018 World Cup in order to control the quality of natural water, specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a regular monitoring of water objects. One brigade of ecologists surveyed the Kazanka River with the help of a mobile laboratory on the boat KS-701¸ the second - the Volga on a patrol vessel Flamingo.

Use of landfill gas as a source of alternative energy. Today it was discussed at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan at a meeting on selection of a landfill for the collection and utilization of landfill gas formed during storage of solid municipal waste.
