774 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan from the beginning of the year.

Also, ecologists reviewed 156 messages received via the “People's Control” system, and 235 notifications - via e-mail, the Ministry’s “hotline” telephone and WhatsApp, Telegram communication channels. 316 applications were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

A meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission chaired by the First Deputy Minister Rustem Kamalov was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the event, a list of specific measures and instructions aimed at enhancing work in the considered areas of activity and prevention of corruption was developed.

III municipal scientific-practical conference of research papers “Ecology and We” was held in the premises of “Aleshkin-Saplykskiy secondary general education school” of Drozhzhanovskiy district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Creation of the Unified State Automated Information System to account for the movement of mined common minerals was discussed today in the framework of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, representatives of the Office of Rosprirodnadzor for Tatarstan, the scientific community and companies-subsoil users. At the end of the meeting, the Head of the environmental department urged the subsoil users to make their proposals for the development of the EGAIS “Nedra” pilot project, expressing readiness for cooperation and assistance in resolving emerging issues.

A campaign among students of higher and secondary special educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan to inform about places of unauthorized waste disposal is held in the framework of the GIS RT “People's control”.

Let us recall that the violation of environmental legislation was revealed in 2017. Then the company engaged in processing waste and scrap of ferrous metals, allowed soil contamination with oil products. The company was brought to administrative responsibility by environmentalists. However, the company challenged in the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan the amount of damage caused to the environment - 682,500 rubles, this time the Court also took the side of environmentalists. To date, the Company is working to eliminate violations of environmental legislation, it will have to pay the amount of damage caused to nature.

Issues of attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in direction of “Environmental Protection” were discussed in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A meeting of the working group No. 8, headed by Fatikh Sibagatullin, a Member of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, was held.

The meeting also discussed the implementation in 2019 of the national project "Ecology" in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Aleksey Kuzmitsky, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, held a videoconference meeting with representatives of the regional executive authorities on preparations for the III All-Russian Water Congress, which will be held in Moscow from June 24 to 26.

Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Egor Tarnavsky participated in the event.

The All-Russian Water Congress is an annual federal platform for interdepartmental and inter-sectoral dialogue to improve the efficiency of use, protection and conservation of water resources.
