A quarterly meeting with residents and partners of Technopolis “Khimgrad” was held in Kazan. The Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilkham Sabirov, reported on the state of the territories adjacent toTechnopolis “Khimgrad”.

The Second Republican Youth Ecological Forum “Ecowave 2014” was held in Bolgar.All in all, 65 people from 17 organizations from all over Tatarstan took part in the forum. They include participants and proponents of ecological organizations from Bugulma, Nizhnekamsk, Tukaevo,Vysokaya Gora, Spassk, Zelenodolsk, Chistopol districts, Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan, as well as representatives of state authorities, public and scientific figures.

The ecological campaign “Clean shores” was held by the Volga-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan along with administration of Chistopol municipal district and Chistopol. Head of Chistopol municipal district Ildus Akhmetzyanov, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Sidikin, Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Nature Protection Ramil Nizamov, Head of the Republican Department of the Russian Geographical Society Dmitry Shiller, Deputy Chairperson of the Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan Sagit Dzhaksynbaev participated in the event.

Today, inspectorsoftheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstantogetherwithfellowworkersoftheDepartmentof theState Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an ordinary raid in the framework of the campaign “Clean air”. Theconcentrationofharmfulpollutantsinexhaust gases of vehicles was measured in the course of the raid at the stationary post of the police unit “Laishevo” by inspectors of the Ministryusing a gas analyzer — a measuring device for determination of the qualitative and quantitative composition of gas mixtures.Currently,
