Dump of waste from ferrous metals on the territory of 1,770 sq.m. was discovered by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of RT in November of last year. As a result of violation of the rules for the management of environmentally hazardous waste, the company allowed pollution of 827.7 square meters of soil with oil products.

On May 12, within the framework of the Day of Environmental Education celebrated in Russia, the city environmental festival Ecovesna will take place in Naberezhnye Chelny. Starting from 13.00 on the territory of the Hippodrome, ecological master classes, a fair, shows from equestrian school, performances and games from eco-movements will take place.

From May 15 to August 14 Kazan will host the All-Russian competition "Green Route". To participate in the absentia stage of the Competition, teams consisting of 7 to 15 people should choose an ecological pathway, draw up a certificate of the historical significance of the route and submit proposals for its popularization.

On the eve of the Great Victory Day, Priiksk Territorial Administration staff congratulated veterans, who in turn shared their stories about life before the war and their fate during the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War.

Refuse dumps, identified by environmental experts during overflight of Vysokogorsk district territories were promptly liquidated. Central Territorial Administration inspectors of the RT Ministry of Ecology identified three refuse dumps of 35 sq.m. total area between Novoye Shigaleevo and Panovka villages.

Personal reception of citizens will be held on May 11 at 10.00 in the Executive Committee of Leninogorsk (Kutuzova Street, 1 bld., room 12).

480 young plants of ornamental maple and lime trees were planted in Almetyevsk on the eve of the great holiday - Victory Day. Heads of Almetyevsk District Executive Committee, employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology, heads and executive staff of urban services, representatives of public and youth organizations took part in the environmental campaigns on trees and shrubs planting.

214 violations of environmental legislation recorded today during helicopter overflight. Surprise inspection of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny districts’ territories was carried out by the Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Alexander Shadrikov.
