The work within the framework of sanitary-environmental bimonthly period was discussed today at the zonal meeting in the Executive Committee of Apastovskiy district. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Environmental Protection, Fayaz Shakirov, the Head of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Vasin, representatives of Apastovskiy, Buinskiy Tetyushskiy, Kamsko-Ustinskiy, Drozhzhanovskiy and Kaibitskiy districts. They approved a plan of measures for sanitary cleaning of the district.

The campaign “Starlings flew back” continues in kindergarten No. 12 in Mamadysh town. Within its framework, pupils of the institution under the guidance of teachers and parents make birdhouses. In addition, during the campaign, young naturalists make bird feeders from waste materials, study the world of birds: their species and habits, structure and habitats, as well as get acquainted with the Red Book samples.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the launch of the contest of environmental drawings “Green Pencil”. Pupils of 1-11 grades of educational organizations of the republic are invited to participate. Acceptance of works will be carried out from March 20 to April 20, 2019 within the framework of “Eco-Spring” republican campaign.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration revealed a violation of environmental legislation requirements. An individual received and stored scrap metal in the water-protection zone of Almetyevsk town. As established by environmentalists, the enterprise stored all scrap in an open area, in the absence of a shed and a network of storm drains. The area cluttered with industrial waste was 60 sq.m. The perpetrator was issued a decision on this fact.

Today in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan journalists were told about the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period starting on April 1, "ECO spring 2019" campaign and preparation for the spring flood. The Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov, Deputy Minister - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan of Environment Protection Fayaz Shakirov, Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Surzhko, Head of the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Zakharov took part in the briefing.

A complaint about violation of land legislation was submitted by a resident of Naberezhnye Chelny to the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan made a trip to the specified address and established the fact of unauthorized removal and movement of the fertile soil layer without any permits. The violation was promptly stopped, there was no significant harm to the environment. A report was drawn up against the guilty person using the “Econadzor” software package in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Damage of Lands" and a decision to impose an administrative fine was made.

Pupils of School No. 7 of Nizhnekamsk town were told about plastics and types of recycling. During the lesson, schoolchildren learned about where the garbage comes from, what harm is done to the environment during the goods production and consumption, how to deal with waste in a civilized manner, and what is separate collection and recycling. The children completed team play assignments and got acquainted with samples of recycling.

Today in the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held a round table discussion “Ecology: from theory to practice” with participation of representatives of the League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan and Youth Public Organization “Will be clean”. During the meeting, the experience of eco-awareness activities of EcoPower detachment of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management of KFU and the joint plan of work of the League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan and “Will be clean” of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented. Also an agreement on joint activities and mutual support between the League of Students and "Will be clean" was signed.

Today the staff of the department was congratulated on the 20th anniversary of the Geo-center of the Republic of Tatarstan, at the weekly meeting of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, rewarded his colleagues, thanking them for their daily hard work, wished prosperity to their work and achievements of new professional heights.

The Naberezhnye Chelny enterprise producing concrete mixes is brought to administrative responsibility for ignoring the instructions of ecologists. Initially, residents of the Avtozavodskiy district of Naberezhnye Chelny addressed the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. There was a persistent acrid smell and smoke near the plant, they said. After visiting the site and taking samples of plant emissions, environmentalists found that the company allowed carbon monoxide, methane and other pollutants to be released into the atmosphere. The environmentalists imposed fines totaling 100 thousand rubles on the legal entity and responsible officials of the enterprise, and passed on a recommendation to eliminate the offense. However, within the prescribed period (1 month) the requirements of environmentalists were not met. A legal entity that failed to fulfill the submission has been brought to administrative responsibility. Now, violators of environmental legislation face penalties up to the suspension of the enterprise’s activities.
