Young pupils of kindergarten No. 5 in Mamadysh started EcoSpring-2019 with a series of environmental events. Young environmentalists with great interest took part in the production of a fairy tale about nature conservation, helping the old oak tree and its protection, the festival “Spring has a fun start!”.
“Today, we are launching a campaign that is useful for the city, handing out containers for collecting batteries to the first 19 schools”, greeted Nail Garipov, Head of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Now within 2 months the schoolchildren will collect batteries, and at the end of May the results will be summed up: the most active schoolchild and the most active school will be identified. Winners of the competition will receive valuable prizes.

As part of implementation of the schedule of activities on environmental education and motivation of the population to work on separate accumulation of solid municipal waste, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a federal environmental project “Hand over waste paper - save the tree!” in the republic. Almetyevskiy district was distinguished in collection of recyclables, they jointly managed to collect 47 tons 800 kg of waste paper.
Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a citizen's complaint about a cement puddle in Naberezhnye Chelny. Environmentalists went to the specified site, where the violation was confirmed. An administrative officer was brought to administrative responsibility; after washing the body of a vehicle intended for transporting concrete mixes, the sediment from wastewater treatment was poured onto the ground. In addition, order for taking measures to eliminate disposed waste was issued.
In the framework of the “EcoSpring-2019” campaign, pupils of the “Child Development Center - Kindergarten No. 1” of Almetyevsk town made beautiful houses for birds. Among them are both traditional and unusual birdhouses.
On April 4 at 10.00 am, a solemn transfer of containers for collecting batteries to educational institutions of the town will be held in the Youth Center “Orion” in Naberezhnye Chelny, reports Orion. The event is held within the framework of the republican campaign for collection of used batteries within the framework of the 2019 sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in cooperation with Duracell Russia OOO.

Let us recall from April 1 a competition to collect waste batteries has starting in the schools of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Aznakayevo, Chistopol, Arsk, Buinsk and Innopolis. The campaign was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Duracell Russia OOO, local governments, and also the regional operator for waste handling in the eastern zone of Tatarstan “Grint” OOO. For two months, schoolchildren will collect used batteries in special containers from Duracell Russia. The most active students and educational institutions will receive valuable gifts.
