A large dump of a little less than a hectare was found by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the water protection zone of Kirovskiy district of the city of Kazan. Here the brick battle, wood, glass, remains of rubble, sawdust are dumped. In addition, during the survey at this site, environmentalists recorded an oil spill. As a result, 2,000 square meters of soil was polluted. Soil samples were taken for laboratory research and a request was made to the Office of the Rosreestr RT to determine the owner of the site. An administrative investigation has been initiated.

The large-scale project “Duracell Battery Collection Week” started on May 23. Special containers travel to Russian cities, stopping for a week in each city. Residents are given the opportunity to hand over accumulated batteries for free. Since the start of the project, the container has managed to visit Kazan and Elabuga. Now the campaign is taking place in Naberezhnye Chelny. You can hand over old batteries and accumulators until July 14 at the Gabdulla Tukai Embankment.
