A large dump of a little less than a hectare was found by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the water protection zone of Kirovskiy district of the city of Kazan. Here the brick battle, wood, glass, remains of rubble, sawdust are dumped. In addition, during the survey at this site, environmentalists recorded an oil spill. As a result, 2,000 square meters of soil was polluted. Soil samples were taken for laboratory research and a request was made to the Office of the Rosreestr RT to determine the owner of the site. An administrative investigation has been initiated.

Pupils of “Almaly” summer camp of Agryzskiy district became participants of the environmental lesson “Let the World be green!”. Simple ecology habits were mastered with the help of game programs, where children not only gained valuable theoretical knowledge, but also consolidated them in practice through interactive games, quizzes, and contests. Employees of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told schoolchildren about the current state of the environment, about the ongoing republican environmental campaigns.

On July 15 the annual environmental campaign “Clean Coast” starts in the Republic of Tatarstan. The event, conducted by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with municipalities, is aimed at establishing and maintaining sanitary order on the banks of water bodies, developing social activity and respect for nature.

Sewage treatment plants were upgraded in order to eliminate the discharge of wastewater to the soil. The enterprise in Tukayevskiy district fully executed the order of the inspectors of Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The introduction of a closed cycle of water disposal made it possible to eliminate flow of sewage onto the terrain.

The Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Timur Gilyazov, and the Tatar Environmental Inter-district Prosecutor, Ilsur Gilmutdinov, consulted the residents of Muslyumovskiy district on environmental legislation. The receptions addressed issues related to transition to a new system of solid municipal waste management, as well as the topic of environmental education of the population. Answers and corresponding explanations were given for all considered appeals.

Employees of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental event in “Olympic Hopes” camp of Sarmanovskiy district. Schoolchildren united in groups, and declare themselves by showing a presentation-business card. In their works, the children tried to reflect the importance of environmental activities, to talk about the need for respect for nature.

The results of regional environmental supervision from the beginning of 2019 were discussed today at a press conference at the Tatar-inform information Agency. First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov told reporters about supervisory measures in the field of protection of air, water bodies, subsoil use and waste management. He noted that more than 3 thousand violations of environmental legislation were prevented by state inspectors, currently 97.5% of them have been eliminated.

The large-scale project “Duracell Battery Collection Week” started on May 23. Special containers travel to Russian cities, stopping for a week in each city. Residents are given the opportunity to hand over accumulated batteries for free. Since the start of the project, the container has managed to visit Kazan and Elabuga. Now the campaign is taking place in Naberezhnye Chelny. You can hand over old batteries and accumulators until July 14 at the Gabdulla Tukai Embankment. Used power sources can be brought in pieces and in packages.

Pupils of the kindergarten “Solnyshko” of Almetyevskiy district stand on the same wavelength with nature! Here, employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a lesson on environmental literacy. They played a game with practical elements with the kids. According to environmentalists, this approach helps to better assimilate the new material. During the lesson, children guessed riddles, deciphered word combinations, learned a lot of interesting things about the ecologist profession.
