Pupils of the Lipki children's health and educational camp in Laishevskiy district visited the “Ecological Around the World”. The eco-educational event was held for them by specialists from the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The schoolchildren divided into teams and went on an informative tour of the camp; they stopped at the “island stations”, which were marked on the route sheets. The teams' task was to remember and sing songs about animals, birds, plants and insects.

More than 50 people took part in a voluntary Saturday clean-up day at a lake in Aviastroitelnyi district of Kazan. These are members of the Russian Geographical Society, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of public associations, activists of environmental movements, caring citizens. Divers of Underwater Research Department named A.A. Leonov cleared the bottom.

The team of Tatarstan, which won 2 silver medals at the European Championship in rowing on boats “Dragon”, was met today at the Kazan railway station. The solemn event was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov. “We are proud of our athletes. Three silver medals: in the 200 and 500 m competitions, and the award of our veterans is an excellent result!”- Aleksandr Shadrikov noted.

Violation of environmental legislation was prevented due to vigilance of the Nizhnekamsk resident. The citizen informed the state inspectors of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan about the fact of transfer of the fertile soil layer in Bolshoye Afanasovo village of Nizhnekamskiy district. He provided ecologists with photographs of vehicle performing works on-site through the What’s up messenger. Immediately arriving at the site, environmental protection experts confirmed the violation.

Currently, 6,828 complaints from citizens have been received. Most of them – 3,998 - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. The “People's Control” system reviewed 728 messages, 935 notifications were received via WhatsApp, Telegram, Eco.signal, “Hotline” communication channels. 1,167 appeals were received at personal receptions and left at the Reception Office of the Ministry.

22 cars were checked today during the operation “Clean Air”. Within its framework, state control is carried out to comply with the standards for the content of pollutants in exhaust gases of motor vehicles in order to reduce the negative impact of cars on atmospheric air. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the staff of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan, checked passing cars for exhaust cleanliness.

For 6 months of 2019, bailiffs of Tatarstan charged more than 8.2 million rubles for violations of environmental legislation, according to the official website of the UFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. Most of the enforcement proceedings related to the execution of administrative and criminal penalties were in the form of collection of fines and material damage. In addition, within the framework of 17 enforcement proceedings, debtors are restricted in their right to travel outside the Russian Federation.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a solemn ceremony of signing agreements for donation of personal documents to the State Archives of the Republic of Tatarstan. Veterans of the environmental branch of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Fatikh Saubanovich Sibgatullin, wife of the First Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Anatoly ivanovich Shchepovskikh - Nina Yakovlevna Shchepovskikh, professor of the Applied Ecology Department of the Kazan Federal University Venera Zinnatovna Latypova, Former Head of the Department of Water Resources Protection of the Ministry Nina Andreyevna Litovinskaya gave their personal collections.

In Moscow, from July 18 to July 21, the European Championship in rowing in boats “Dragon” among national and club teams is held on the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. Athletes from Hungary, Germany, Moldova, Romania, France, and Russia take part in the competition. The team of Tatarstan is also among the participants, today the team won an honorable second place.

Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan once again examined the route of the upcoming world championship WorldSkills Kazan 2019. The raid was carried out jointly with specialists from the Office of the Federal Registration Service in Tatarstan. In the course of supervision, violations of environmental legislation were identified in the form of dumping construction waste in the water-protection zone of the Kazanka river.
