Anniversary X International Specialized Exhibition and Congress “Pure water. Kazan” will be held at the Kazan Fair from October 17 to 19, 2019. The event is dedicated to discussing the rational and efficient use of water resources, municipal and industrial water supply, as well as the quality of drinking water.

Environmental education in the Republic of Tatarstan is 50 years old. A scientific and practical conference “Tatarstan - Russia: 50 years of environmental education (1969-2019)” in celebration of the anniversary of the Department of Nature Conservation and Biogeocenology of Kazan State University named after Ulyanov-Lenin and the first environmental faculty in Russia will be held on November 21, 2019, in the small hall of KSK UNICS.

Now the young naturalists of Tatarstan are together and work together. The revival of the once most massive children's movement of the country in the republic was told today at a press conference in the Tatar-inform Information Agency.

The participants were presented with the Diary of a Young Naturalist. It is designed so that children can record all their phenological observations. Soon, diaries will be received by all pupils who are members of environmental groups at educational institutions of the republic.

The implementation of measures regarding the separation of consumer polymer packaging waste was discussed today with Coca-Cola representatives in Russia at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The discussion, chaired by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, was also attended by representatives of republican ministries and departments, the Kazan Executive Committee, heads of Grinta OOO, and PZhKH management company.

The fact of dumping of waste onto the soil was discovered by ecologists during the flight around the Almetyevskiy district. On the territory of the production base, inspectors from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded a dump of roofing material and tires on the area of ​​102 square meters. In addition, the fact of using groundwater in violation of licensing conditions, namely, the lack of metering devices, was revealed.

On October 5, 2019, Forest Planting Day will be held in all regions of Tatarstan. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. For these purposes, the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared 1.5 million pieces of planting material: seedlings of common pine, European spruce, Siberian larch, small-leaved linden, common mountain ash, etc.

The project “Environmental GTO” has been implemented at Arsk elementary school No. 3 since September last year. The goal of the project is to increase the level of pupils’ knowledge about the laws of animate and inanimate nature, to arouse interest in ecology and to form a responsible attitude to the world around.

A metal fence made of corrugated board became an obstacle to the Stepnoi Zai river in Almetyevskiy district. On this fact, an administrative punishment was imposed on the company official in accordance with Art. 8.12.1 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and an instruction on elimination of the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of an administrative offense was issued. Currently, the fence has been dismantled - free access to the river is provided.

Enterprises and organizations of Tatarstan, whose activities are focused on development of the Arctic, are invited to participate in the International Forum, which will be held from December 5 to 7, 2019 in St. Petersburg. The event includes plenary meetings, round tables, workshops and panel sessions, a specialized exhibition.
