Each site proposed for temporary storage of snow must be approved by environmentalists. The first raid on the territory of future authorized snow ranges was carried out today by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. All sites for future snow placement are evaluated by specialists from the laboratory of the Ministry. Soil samples are taken from the site for a comparative analysis at the end of the winter season in order to prevent reagent contamination of the land.
The South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens that waste was dumped on the ground at the construction site of a multi-storey building in Almetyevsk. The contractor disposed the remaining garbage in a previously dug pit with an area of 12 square meters. In addition, two areas of unauthorized waste disposal were fixed on the ground with a total area of 49 square meters. After the raid of inspectors, the violation was hastened to be eliminated.
Today the results of environmental volunteering were summed up in Moscow. In the framework of the VI All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education, a plenary meeting was held with the participation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kobylkin, President of the Non-Governmental Environmental Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky Vladimir Grachev. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was introduced by the Head of the Department of Information Systems and Environmental Education Damir Valiullin. The prospects for development of environmental education in the country, problems and the need to consolidate efforts in this direction were discussed.
During environmental monitoring, employees of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental laws in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. As the audit showed, the construction organization that carried out the work on replacing the roof allowed the discharge of production and consumption waste onto the soil in the form of insulating and roll roofing materials. The area of cluttering amounted to 50 square meters.
An environmental lesson was held at the “Belekech” kindergarten in Vysokogorskiy district. During the event, the “Belekech” kindergarten was solemnly awarded with a prestigious award - the ecological symbol “Green Flag” for active environmental activities.
The territory of “wild” quarry in Leninogorskiy district has now been restored. Abandoned plot near the Savochkino village was once chosen by locals, a landfill was formed from household waste and branches. Due to the funds of the fines received and payment for the negative impact on the environment, in the framework of the agreement concluded with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of the district reclaimed a plot of 9,396 square meters.
Air quality monitoring issues were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with a representative of the Finnish company Vaisala. The corporation is the largest supplier of measuring sensors, among which are devices for measuring the exhaust gases of enterprises, as well as automatic weather stations that predict climate changes and severe weather conditions.
The huge pipe warehouse at the production base in Almetyevsk attracted the attention of inspectors from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a helicopter over-flight. The area of the illegal storage was 880 square meters. An administrative protocol has been drawn up for a legal entity under Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

Both the tenant and the owner are guilty of cluttering the production base along Obyezdnaya street in Almetyevsk. Earlier, for formation of landfills from roofing material and tires, as well as the use of groundwater in violation of licensing conditions, environmentalists brought the base tenant to liability. Now, according to the results of analysis of samples, violations in the activities of the tenant have also been identified. The violator faces a fine of 400 to 700 thousand rubles.
