Employees of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an eco-lesson in Lyceum-Boarding School (school for gifted children) in Buinsk. The event was devoted to the topic of separate waste collection, method of sorting and further use of plastic, paper, metal and glass.

According to the results of the year, municipalities, enterprises, public organizations, journalists, citizens - winners of the republican contest were determined. The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, greeted the participants of the event, noting that from year to year environmental issues were becoming more significant factors in the life of every person, territory, state and each region of the Russian Federation.

The winner of the Absolute Winner Cup according to the results of the ECO Leader-2019 competition was Tatneft PAO named after V.D. Shashina.

The reception of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from a local resident about a landfill in Naberezhnye Chelny. The survey revealed that the landfill consists of concrete scrap, papers, bags, uncontaminated polyethylene. In relation to the legal entity, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 8.2 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

The main topics of the plenary meeting were plans for 2020, legislative initiatives adopted in the industry and new bills, development and implementation of the best available technologies, mechanisms to support the most important events of the national project, as well as a number of other topics.

Volunteers, activists of the movement “Will be clean” and indifferent citizens to the problem of separate waste collection took part in the campaign “Time to Separate”. Participants organized a flash mob, student performances, animators entertained children, held contests and games.

Today, a meeting of the Public Council was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov. The event was attended by scientists, experts, public figures and environmental officials. Summing up the meeting and overall work for the year, Aleksandr Shadrikov noted that all important significant projects undergo a mandatory examination of the Public Council.

Dismantling the inactive pipeline in the water protection zone of the Sterlya river was carried out by an oil company in Aznakayevskiy district. Ecologists found out that during the work a number of violations were committed. The inspectors of the Priikiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan are brought to administrative responsibility.

117 teachers from different regions of Russia and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan shared their useful experience in the field of ecology at the conference. The event was held in the premises of Gymnasium named after M.M. Vakhitov of Buinsk town. At the meeting, the issues of the organization of local history research and project activities of schoolchildren and the development of environmental and geographical education were disclosed.
