International project "Ecological culture. Peace and Harmony" is held by the V. I. Vernadsky Foundation annually since 2012. The event is aimed at identifying and supporting projects that have practical application in the field of formation and development of ecological culture.

An unauthorized dump of construction waste was discovered by environmentalists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The violation was detected in the village of Kaleikino during the monitoring of the Almetyevsk district. The area of the cluttered territory was more than 700 sq.m., the volume was 150 cubic meters.

In the children's ecological and biological center of Yelabuga, employees of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental campaign to collect spent power sources "Hand over batteries with Duracell". As a result of the efforts of environmentalists and residents of Yelabuga, more than 120 kg of used batteries were collected.

Ilyas Askarov is a district forester of the Klyarinsky district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tetyushskoe Forestry". He did not come to the profession by chance, even in his school years he mastered the basics of forestry, because his father worked as a forester.

Since the beginning of March, the new automatic air pollution control station (hereinafter – AAPCS) has carried out more than 3,000 measurements of pollutants. This station provides monitoring of the main pollutants in the air, such as: carbon monoxide, ammonia, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, the sum of nitrogen oxides, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide. The equipment installed at AAPCS provides continuous measurements of concentrations of pollutants in the atmospheric air with an average of 20 minutes for comparison with the maximum permissible maximum single concentrations of substances in the air.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology hosted an interdepartmental meeting on air quality in the Kirovsky and Aviastroitelny districts of Kazan with the participation of the head of the department Alexander Shadrikov, the leadership of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of Kazan and the management of the MC "PZhKH".

Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology, together with primary school students of school No. 3 of the Arsky district, made and hung feeders in Victory Park for birds returning from wintering.
